5250 OCEAN BLVD, SARASOTA, FL, 34242, UNITED STATES
So since the first SCP Beer Pong Open went some so well, with the hometown heroes narrowly defending the championship against the ringers from Ft. Myers. We're doing it again! Bigger and better. More drink specials, better prizes and even fiercer competition. So take work off, schedule it it in, and bring your best to take the crown! The first Friday of every month!
Returning will be DJ MAJORRAG3R with his sick blend of dubstep, hiphop, pop, and more to keep the party rocking. You're favorite Head Referee Daniel Sanchez will be operating the tables and securing that your ass is playing right!
Overall it'll be another great time with good people with questionable decisions so whether you come to compete or just party your ass off make it out October 7th for another great time.
STRICTLY 21+
DRINK SPECIALS!
Registration starts at 9:30 with the tournament set to run at 10:15-10:45. Entry for teams will be $10 per person if playing or $20 per team, CASH ONLY. Depending on time/teams I reserve the right to cap the amount of teams as need. Please contact me personally if wishing to preregister at 941-457-SEAN.
We will be playing Double Elimination bracket style. First prize will get $150 cash guaranteed (at least) and the championship and other prizes will run down to at least the top four spots with other prizes also planned.
Otherwise I look forward to a great, exciting night of beer pong, booze, and cash prizes with great people at the Raw Bar. SCP Beer Pong Opens might become a regular ordeal if these continue to do well :D. So mark your calendars and come and make history!
NOT STANDARD WSOBP RULES
The Rules are pretty simple but to avoid any confusion:
-Teams register as teams of two. The tournament structure is double elimination, meaning each team will have to lose two matches before being out.
- 6 Cups
- Coin Flip to decide who starts the match
- Bouncing = 2 cups but may be swatted once bounced
- 1 Rerack per game
- Redemption/Rebuttal is shoot until you miss
- Distraction is allowed, though must not obstruct view of the cups or interfere with the ball in any way. Penalties will be awarded if distraction crosses these lines.
- There will be a line marked on the floor for each team that must be stood behind to throw. Elbow will not be enforced, it will instead be the line.
- There will be a referee on the tables to settle any disputes and enforce the rules. If you disagree with a ref you may respectfully appeal to the tournament host (me) but must not out of control if a ruling does not go your way.
- The cups played with will contain water by default. Teams can drink from in side cups, or any alcohol of their choosing. This is to maintain cleanliness and keep the tournament running quickly and smoothly.
- If a member of your team becomes too intoxicated/unfit to healthily continue playing your team may become disqualified and possibly kicked out (We're talking unruly behavior/too sloppy to stand, otherwise drink and enjoy yourself).
