Description
This year's championships will consist of two events over two days.
July 23rd: Singles Championships
@ Coaches Sports Grill, 1414 Central Ave
Ages 18+
Registration and Warmup at 4:00pm
Tournament begins at 5:00pm
Double Elimination Bracket, randomly seeded
Guys: $20, Girls: $10
After Party TBD
July 24th: $2k Doubles Championships
@ Fox and Hound Pub and Grill, 4301 The Lane At 25
Ages 21+
Registration and Warmup from 12:30-2:00
Prelim Games begin at 2:00
All teams will play 6-8 preliminary games*, tracking win/loss record and cup differential. After prelims, the top 16 teams will be seeded into two 8-team double-elim brackets. The second place teams from each bracket will play a best of three match to determine 3rd place. The winners of each bracket will play a best of three match to determine the tournament winners.
1st: $1200
2nd: $500
3rd: $300
Buyin: $40 per guy, $20 per girl
We are looking into possible hotel options for traveling teams. To get a better idea of what we should expect, if you are planning on traveling to compete in this please let us know as soon as you can!
*in the event this tournament exceeds 45 teams, all teams will play 6 prelim games rather than 8.
