Description
Louisiana Beer Pong and San Antonio Miners both have had a great couple of years putting the south on the map as far as pong goes, beer pong as a whole is growing and the south is starting to produce teams from everywhere. The two organizations, Louisiana Bpong and San An...tonio Miners, have decided to team up to bring you “The Southern Quest 5K’. LABP and SAM have GUARANTEED 5k plus (Meaning GUARANTEE $5,000 and depending on turn out prize pool could be more) As far as payouts we are still going top heavy 1st 4k, 2nd 600, 3rd 300 and 4th 100… Once again this is all depending on turn out but the prize pool will not drop below this mainly because we know for sure we can guarantee this amount. The more teams the better so please continue to get your teams signed up.

Warm ups: 11:30am
Start Time: 12:00pm
Cost: $120 if paid by June 20 2012, if paid after price goes up to $150 up until the day of the tourney.
Double Buys will be allowed (meaning you’re allowed to buy in with another person) ALSO IT WILL BE GUARANTEED THAT YOUR TEAMS WILL NOT FACE EACH OTHER IN THE ROUND ROBIN PLAY OR BRACKET PLAY. Tripods and buy in with the same partner will not be allowed (meaning you and your first partner may not have the same second partners or you and your first partner may not buy in a second time together)
WE ARE CAPPING THIS EVENT AT 64 TEAMS SO GET SIGNED UP EARLY!!!
ANYONE CAN PLAY IN THIS EVENT AS LONG AS YOU’RE 18 YEARS OLD

FORMAT: Every team is guaranteed 4 games in pool play and the top 32 teams will advance to a double elimination bracket play tournament, with winners bracket being a best of 3.
Yes of course there will be DRINK SPECIALS!!! (Which will be announced the day of the tournament)
There will also be a double elimination SINGLES tourney the night before (Friday July 20th 2012) starting at 8:00pm with the buy in being $20 and winner (DEPENDING ON IF 32 PEOPLE PLAY OR NOT) taking $500 and 2nd TBA…
Please spread the word and tell people, we don't care who shows up to play as long as they are 18 and over and not looking to start trouble...
