The 2nd Annual “PONG TRIATHLON”

When:
Saturday, October 20th, 2012  Sign-In Noon
1st Tournament will begin at 1:00pm SHARP!

Where:
TR’s PUB  Banquet Room - 3908 W. 111th Street, Chicago IL.

What:
“3” Separate Pong Tournaments - All In One Day
We’ll be sending 5 people to Vegas to compete in the World Series of Pong for a chance to win $50,000

1.) WSOBP Satellite Tournament
1st Place, 2 BIDs
2nd Place, Cash Prize as well as two free entries to the Drunken Bear Cork & Kerry Tournament held on Nov 24, 2012
3rd Place, Two free entries to the "3rd Annual Pong Triathlon" held next year.
This is a "Bring Your Own Partner" Tournament.
Prelims followed by double elimination tournament.

2.) Singles Tournament
1st Place, 1 BID
Just yourself, Nobody else to blame when you get your ass beat.....!!
In addition - The Rookie / New Blood player with the highest final placing, will receive a Cash Prize.
If the Rookie was "Scouted" (brought by a veteran player, that individual will also receive a Cash Prize.
No Prelims – straight Double Elimination Tournament.

3.) WSOBP Satellite Tournament -
(Blind Draw for Partner – Your partner will be randomly selected)
“No 2 bid winners will be paired together”
1st Place, 2 BIDS
2nd Place, Cash Prize as well as two free entries to the Drunken Bear Cork & Kerry Tournament held on Nov 24, 2012
3rd Place, Two free entries to the "3rd Annual Pong Triathlon" held next year.
Prelims followed by double elimination tournament.
In addition, pending Rookie / New Blood turnout, a separate tournament will be run at the same time allowing just the Rookies to compete against each other (Blind Draw format). This will also prevent "Very Good" players from being paired up with a player that does not have any/all experience.
A Cash Prize will be awarded to the 1st place winner of that tournament only! No 2nd, 3rd place prize.

Cost: 
Veteran Pong Players: $65 per person will enter you into all 3 tournaments.
If you are a Veteran player, you have the opportunity to play at a discounted price. For every "Rookie / New Blood" FULL PRICE PAYING player that you bring, $20 will be deducted from you entry fee.
Rookies  / New Blood - $50 per person will enter you into all 3 tournaments. You will have the CHOICE of which 3rd tournament you want to play in. Regular Blind Draw or Rookie Blind Draw.

Lastly, I need to define "Rookie / New Blood" player. If you have "EVER" competed in an Pong event of which your name has been entered into the BPONG.com database, you do not qualify as a Rookie. VETERANS, you've been forewarned. Do not bring someone that has played in a posted,sanctioned,satty qualifying tournament etc. in the past. You will not receive a reduced price for that player!!! It defeats the purpose of what we are trying to accomplish with NEW PLAYERS getting involved!

Sign-Ups will be the day of the tournament - so bring cash.

Specials: $2 Dom. Bottles & Pizza available via house kitchen
